Member Meetings

At Member Meetings, you’ll collaborate with people like you who can help you be a more effective social media leader.

Everything is completely private, off-the-record, and in an incredibly efficient format. Get fast answers to the questions and challenges you can’t talk about anywhere else.

Every meeting is exclusively for social media leaders at major brands.

You’ll connect with more social media leaders from major brands in one day than you will anywhere else all year. Bringing so many brands together creates incredible conversations that span a wide range of challenges. You’ll get answers and insights from unexpected places, make amazing connections, and leave with a notebook full of ideas.

There are absolutely no vendors or sponsors allowed.

No vendors, sponsors, or consultants of any kind allowed. No speaking slots are for sale. No vendors are allowed in the room. No sponsors will be accepted in any form.

Member Meetings are for you and leaders like you. No sales pitches, period.

You’ll have incredibly valuable conversations.

Because everyone in the room is a social media leader, no matter what you’re looking to start, figure out, or fix — someone else has been there before and can help.

It’s efficient and designed for busy leaders.

We’re famous for running on-time, keeping a fast pace, and expert moderation. You’re busy, so we make sure every minute is time well spent.

Unique venues and changing formats — but always great experiences.

We mix things up to keep it interesting so no two meetings are ever the same. But the core never changes: Great conversations through unconferences, Show & Tell talks, member-led discussions, and meal discussions. We do four meetings per year with low registration fees aimed to simply cover our costs.

We don’t do a lot of the usual conference stuff.

There are no sponsors, exhibitors, panels, keynotes, vendors, or canned presentations. In fact, the only time someone stands at the front of the room is when another member is sharing with you. Member Meetings aren’t conferences. They’re the highlight experience of membership, and attending gets you better insights, answers, and the help you need to lead your social media program. These conversations don’t happen anywhere else — it’s the kind of practical, actionable advice you can only get from other leaders like you.

How members describe it:

Your first Member Meeting will likely redefine how you spend time out of the office at conferences or seminars. I have written full strategic and tactical plans coming out of these meetings. My entire annual conference budget is dedicated to meetings for two reasons: They are absolutely fun with great venues, food, and (now) friends, and because I take away more actionable information in eight hours than I could at any other "major" conference. You can always find a TED or SXSW talk on YouTube. You will not get the same opportunity with so many large brands unless you are in the room. Dan Phelps, Wells Fargo

I truly believe the Member Meeting was the most valuable conference I have ever attended! Eric Vaughn, MGM Resorts International

In a time of tight schedules and travel budgets, meetings are always time and money well spent. They're all signal, no noise. Rob Wolf, Microsoft

This was my first Member Meeting, and my head is still spinning from all the information shared. This gives us a boost in the right direction about what to do next. Kevin Thomas, Robert Bosch

I thoroughly enjoyed the past two days. I'm so energized and inspired for the future. Jennifer Palmer, Mohawk Industries

It was like hitting the refresh button on the professional portion of my soul. Sumer Gregg, Xerox

I got more out of the meetings than I thought -- and I had a high expectation going in! David Werner, U.S. Navy

I learned more in that meeting and found it more valuable than any kind of day conference that I've gone to. Jennifer Chulski, ComEd holds the most thoughtful conferences and ensures that every moment spent at the event is comfortable and packed with amazing information. Lindsay Listanski, Coldwell Banker Real Estate
