Meet everyone at the Welcome BBQ

Drinks and networking following the Pre-Conference: Monday, January 23 — 5-7 PM

Whether you just finished up at the Pre-Conference or just got here, join us to kick off the Brands-Only Summit with a big BBQ. We’ll all meet for dinner at Shipwreck Beach for a casual get-together with drinks and great food (including veggie options).

Brands-Only Summit Welcome Reception

Everyone’s invited to hang out at the reception following the first day of case studies and unconferences: Tuesday, January 24 — 5:30-7 PM

At this point, your head and notebook will be full of inspiring ideas. So we’ll take a break to unwind and network over drinks and appetizers while we wait for the bus to Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

Star Wars Behind-the-Scenes Member Dinner

Members will be bused backstage to Disney’s Hollywood Studios for a large feast: Tuesday, January 24 — 7:00-9:30 PM

(Board the bus to dinner at 7:00 PM. If you miss the bus, you’ll miss the party!)

What’s more fun than going to Disney with all your SocialMedia.org friends? Going backstage.

SocialMedia.org members will get to know each other over an amazing feast inside Disney’s Hollywood Studios following the first day of case studies and unconferences. We’ll head to the set of Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular! to enjoy drinks and dinner together. Then, members will be escorted to Star Wars Launch Bay for a dessert party and a chance to meet their favorite Star Wars characters.

Unofficial Family Meetup

Informal and all-ages alternative dinner for folks who can’t make the Member Dinner: Tuesday, January 24 –7:00-9:30 PM

Unfortunately, only SocialMedia.org members are able to join us for the Member Dinner, but we know a lot of you are bringing your family. If you have family members who don’t already have plans, we’re having an informal, unofficial, all-ages meetup at Hurricane Hanna’s Waterside Bar and Grill for folks who can’t make the Member Dinner.

Note: This isn’t part of the official conference, so you’re on your own for buying food and there won’t be SocialMedia.org staff in attendance.


Connections and Conversations

Breakfast Happy Hours: Tuesday, January 24 — 7:30 AM, and Wednesday, January 25 — 8:30 AM

Breakfast Happy Hour? It’s really just breakfast — no booze. But the conversations over coffee and Mickey waffles at this event are often more lively than any other conference’s happy hour. You’ll want to be here bright and early.

Community Lunch: Monday, January 23 — 12:10 PM

If you’re coming to the Pre-Conference, get here early and grab a seat at the table. This sit-down lunch is your first opportunity to meet all of the great social media leaders you’ll get to know at the Brands-Only Summit.

Goodbye Party: Wednesday, January 25 — 5-5:30 PM

We’ll all get together as one big group for our final session of the day over drinks and appetizers. This is the time to say goodbye to new and old friends before we wrap up the Brands-Only Summit.
