Last week we wrapped up our 6th SocialMedia.org Health Member Meeting in St. Louis at the Mercy Virtual Care Center.
28 social media leaders from 18 major hospitals got together to talk about the things that are most important to their work right now. We also experienced a private tour of the Mercy Virtual Care Center — thanks to our SocialMedia.org Health members for hosting!
We heard 3 Show & Tell presentations from fellow SocialMedia.org Health members, all social media leaders at major hospitals.
They shared stories about projects they had led, challenges they had faced, what went well, what didn’t work, and what they hope to do next. We heard from:
- Northwestern Medicine’s Megan Augustyniak will discuss how to drive healthcare advocacy through user-generated content.
- Bradley Haller will give an inside look at how Mercy works with their data team to drive patient leads through engaging social media content.
- Kate Setter will talk about how Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center created a blog that was strategically important to their social program.
Stay tuned for information about our next meeting!
You won’t want to miss the next opportunity to have face-to-face conversations with people like you at hospitals like yours.
