A look at Self Esteem Brands’ Unofficial Unconference in Twin Cities, hosted by Christian Betancourt

This week, Self Esteem Brands hosted an Unofficial Unconference — a private, peer-to-peer discussion in a relaxed 3-4 hour session — for SocialMedia.org members and other social media leaders in the Twin Cities area.

Anytime Fitness Senior Manager of Digital Strategy Christian Betancourt organized this fantastic meeting which brought together 32 social media leaders from 3M, Ameriprise Financial, Anderson Windows, Aveda, Boston Scientific, Cargill, Fairview Health Systems, General Mills, Honeywell, Marvin Windows, Medtronic, Regis Corporation, Securian Financial, Thrivent Financial, U.S. Bank, United Healthcare, UHG, and more.

They kicked off the meeting with breakfast discussions before launching into four rounds of unconferences where attendees could talk about the topics that mattered most to them that day.

Topics discussed included: working with influencers, social team structures and governance, emerging platforms, executives on social media, crisis communication, social advertising, social metrics/ROI, and more.

A huge thank you to Christian for all the hard work he put into making this amazing meeting possible.

Everyone involved put together an incredible morning of leaders-only conversations — and it was a huge success!
