We'll continue the day with a big lunch together. It's Austin, so it'll be tasty -- and there'll be as much tofu as there is meat.
1:30 PM "Technology and the Future of Humanity" with special guest Byron Reese
Since our very beginning, humans have used technology to multiply what we are able to do. Now, as technological advances come at such dizzying speeds, some are left wondering what our future as a species looks like. Will we end up in some dystopian world where our technology has destroyed all jobs and run amok? Author Byron Reese doesn't think so. He sees an incredibly bright future for us, and in this talk, he explores how we will bring about the sort utopia people have dreamed of for millennia.
